I have very unusual problem with audio.
On my notebook VGN-SZ1XP/C after more than a year, once the audio recording from built-in microphone stopped working. I cannot remember any upgrades or changes to the system, I would make at that time. Audio is playing, just the recording part is grayed out. There is also the audio driver in the hardware list correctly shown as working. I also tried the external input and it does not work as well. Tried reinstalling drivers, but it did not help.
This happened to me before half a year and I wanted to take the notebook to the service.
But last week, my brother, who has the same notebook, called me with the same problem. So I have got a "hope", if this is not a software problem and if there is somebody, either who had solved such a problem, or who could help me with this issue.
