VGN-NS10L/S Wifi Issue

Hi

Someone please help, not so too good with all this but here goes.

Everytime i turn off or put laptop on standby i lose my wifi connection.
When i look in Devise management next to the Driver it has a warning sign.
in order to get rid of this i have to
right click on the driver
Go to install driver
select the only one there
and install

then it takes about 3 refeshes to then find my network and it works fine for as long as i am using the PC constantly if i stop for say 30 mins i loose it again.

How can i stop this?
is it a fault with the Laptop....(only had it 2 weeks)
how can i get a new driver if needed?

Help please required asap

Thanks

Strawbit

Hi Strawbit and welcome.

Have you installed SP1 for Vista?

Have you got the Intel or the Atheros Wireless Adapter fitted in your model?

It (vista) should prompt you automatically but if not go to windows update in the control pannel and it should be there for download.
But first while in contol panel click on the welcome center and it'll tell you if service pack 1 is installed.
