Sound problem Vaio VGN-FS215S

Hello,

I have a problem with my Sony Vaio VGN-FS215S. The problem is a kind of “bad contact”. When I use headphones only the left one works. I have to move the jack a little so it gets a good position and both sides have sound, but this doesn’t always work. Usually I have to put a piece of paper under the jack making some pressure in up direction searching for a good position so both sides can have sound.
I have tried different headphones and always happens the same. The speakers are working fine.
This problem happened suddenly, the laptop didn’t fell down neither suffered any accident.

hi you have 2 ways of fixing this

1. get a small pointy object (same as a needle) and try to putt the contacts out slowly on the inside of the connection.

2. take the base of the laptop and then using a pen/pin bush the connectors down on the connection.

both do the same thing
