I just bought a Sony VGN-SR19VN et I notice that when used on battery, the processor (Intel P8400) works at FID 6x VID 1.000v (1600 mhz) whatever settings I used, wheras on power supply I can use it at max FID 8x VID 1.250v (2260 mhz).
Is this normal ? Is it a hardware or software limitation ?
I tried every possible settings with RM CPU clock but no way to use it at full power on battery.
Can someone confirm these results ?
BTW i use XP SP3.
