Problems with XP drivers for Vaio VGN-CR42S

I recently bought Sony Vaio VGN-CR42S-L and installed Windows XP on it because I don't like Vista.

I am currently missing drivers for:
- Audio
- Bluetooth
- Chipset
- Graphics
- Pointing Device
- Wireless

the most important ones are obviously audio, chipset, graphics and wireless.

Please help me.

Hi krigath and welcome.

The only XP drivers I know are for the CR3* Vaios. Some may work with your CR4* Vaio but at your own risk: -

CR3* XP Drivers

You will not get everything to work properly with XP, it is not possible for this model which was designed exclusively for Vista. Personally I prefer Vista and everything working perfectly.

What is the reason that you prefer Vista? Only driver compatibility or something else?

Also, I am still looking for a Wireless driver, this one wont install.
