Hi,

I recently lost the hard disk on my laptop and removed the orignal to repalce with a new one. While I had the machine apart I managed to damage the ribbon cable that connects between the motherboard and hard disk.

Can anyone confirm that this will work with my machine

Hi Ian and welcome to Club Vaio.

It looks like the correct part number for your model Vaio provided you have a Hitachi Hard Drive. It will not fit if you have a Toshiba Hard Drive.

Check the part number here - a bit more expensive to buy from here though!!
