My VAIO fz-31M's Battery is dying!!

MY VAIO notebook battery suxx
initially when i bought it ... it used to run for 2 hrs on the battery..
but now....
it doesnt even back me up for an hour!!!!!

My piece is just 10 monthes old...

i used the notebook mostly on plugged in mode ....
used to discharge it abt once in 10-15 days....
Is this a WRONG Practice..????
If so.... WHATS THE RIGHT WAY TO USE THE NOTEBOOKs BATTERY..?????
