Hello , I have VAIO PCG-Z1M , I wish to upgrade my slot memory ( now is 256 MB in slot + 256 on board ).
What is maximum of memory module in slot , user manual say 512 MB, but many dealers
say 1GB will work fine ! 1Gb will work or not,is it 512Mb really maximum or not ?

I was follow that link for PCG-Z1M Technical Specifications , but there they say only 768 MB (fixed 256 + 512 slot ) 😞
What do you think ,can I buy 1GB module SO-DIMM DDR1,and will then I have 1280 MB ?

if you use the Crucial System Scanning tool it scans what RAM is currently in your Vaio and recommends a compatible upgrades..
