How to reduce screen brightness

Can anyone help new user. How do I dim the brightness of the screen. Any help much appreciated.

Two ways

Hold FN and F6 or F7 (I think, it's the keys with the little sun on them)
or
the power schemes if you click on the battery indicator in the task bar.
There should be a slider to decrease brightness in the mobility options.
