Dear all,
My Yamaha audio monitor ysp-4000 is connected via HDMI from vaio.
Vista audio driver is Sigmatel high definition audio codec sends sound to Yamaha when I select it in audio preferences but only stereo.
The problem is, that Vista does not give an option to test and\or setup 5.1, quadro or even mono in speakers setup!
When I checked Vista suppot on MS site I found a note there that my audio card will find what audio output I have and will offer only applicable. Like an expampe they give a notebook with internal 2 speakers.
That is exactly what I have but!!! why it does not see another option over HDMI ?
Are there some ini files to edit, or config utility or any other option to solve it ?
