I own a A497xp laptop of which i needed reparing (faulty dvd drive) so i contacted sony vaio link they collected it but when i received it back yes the drive was replaced and working but the laptop was scratched badly in 2 area's so i had it picked up a 2nd time for repairs on damage they had done!!
Once again i received it back but yet again there was more scratches. its now been sent back for the 3rd time what the heck are they doin over there? throwin them about? the laptops only 5 months old so still under warranty but im getting really angree now that they fail to provide a good repair service for a product of which i paid just over 2 grand for.
I doubt i will be buying another vaio product in the future.
Thats absolutely disgraceful, I'd contact Trading Standards
I agree with the reply posted by Kee-Lo that you think about contacted Trading Standards. I have posted a thread under General as I had to wait 5 weeks to get my laptop returned for a simple keyboard change. I think that they really need to get their act together with regards their customer service or lack of. Hope that you get your problem resolved soon.
PS did you like me have to wait for ages to get a response to to correpondence posted on the vaio-link site?
