my vaio has blue numbers on some of the letter keys which make up a kind of numberpad, accessed using the blue Fn key. somehow this has become permanently activated so that i now get the numbers not the letters when pressing those keys, and i have to hold down the Fn key to get the letters.
this does not affect the functions, e.g. brightness on f5 f6, which work as normal.
how can i undo this and get my letter keys back? holding down fn all the time whilst typing is a bit awkward...
restarting the machine does not solve this...
