Exchanging Hard disc VGN-A617M

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody has any experiences with exchanging the original Harddrive of A VGN-A617M with a faster one of Seagate or WD? :smileyblush:

Any SATA 2.5 inch disc should fit OK however it is fairly major surgery to replace the drive.

I attach a Manual for the A-Series Vaios - this covers many models but should be similar to your A617M.
