I have just puchased a VGN-Z11VN. In good faith, I followed the instructions for downgrading the OS. No problem until the last step, which assured me that all the rest of the drivers would be available from www.vaio-link.com. It appears that Sony have been less than honest about this as I have not been able to find any such download: everything is for Vista.
I would appreciate any solutions anyone might offer.

Kevlin
Hi Kevlin and welcome to Club Vaio.
You are right - I have just had a look at the available XP Downgrade drivers and utilities and the Z-Series has not been added yet.
The SR-Series and the BZ-Series XP Drivers and Utilities appear to have been added four and two weeks ago but there is no sign of the XP software for the Z-Series.
I will raise this as a matter of urgency with Sony but it will be next week now before they can reply. In the past I think there was a short delay getting XP drivers for models with nVidia graphics.

Hi Kevlin,
The BIOS was the culprit but it is ready now.
The Z-Series XP drivers should be available for download tomorrow.

Thanks.
