... and the 30 day cut of date runs out tomorrow - a Sunday, when Sony help lines is closed. Great.
Basically, I can't seem to find that VPPS number. There's no sticker on the back of the case, just a bar code, with 2 numbers which I've already tried with no luck.
I've also tried the Sony id, sap id, invoice number and pretty much all the other numbers on the invoice. Still no luck
To make things worse the search function on this forum is currently not working.
I've submitted a case to Sony but I doubt they'll reply in the weekend.
I can just imagine that on monday I'll get a "sorry your 30 day time limit has passed". I mean, this warranty costs over £200.

there should not be an issue as long as your case has been submitted in time. Since you have tried all numbers you could find and informed Sony about this issue through eSupport, I'm rather confident they will consider this done within the 30-day period.
If the response through eSupport is not satisfactory, do let us know and a member of the Experts team can escalate this to Sony and try to get it sorted.

when i call sony this morning and explain to that guy who alway pick up the phone ,that there is many phone numbers on my invoices which number is needed he can see to help.
telling me you should know if i knew i would call. i am bring to think was this the right buy.
this is the worst service i have gotten so far.
I call both sony style and the esupport team in the uk. They don't give a dam! about what i am saying but i want my money back.

no you where wrong in the getting back part. They promise me they will get back to me before noon, NOON COME AND GONE.
I took matter into my own hand and call them back as it's the local council office money i am spending and they want a full low down on the product bought.
WHen i call sony style the same story i hear over and over again. We will sorted this problem out again and again but the day and the next come and gone. I realised that my face is slowly being smashed again a big wall with this company.
i will bring the half pack product to the local government office as they are the one who bought the product on behave of a student.
I am tidy fighting a lossing battle of daylight robbery they got my number and looads more information but yet no progess on my side of the pond. Only promises every day since money which is just song to my ear's.
next time i will used a smaller company that do care about each of there customers and not a big one which take your money and send you a half done product that cost you a arm and a leg calling them up 50 time a day to get what you
don't get me wrong there are other product one the market i could of used that are 10 times cheaper but i trust and love sony products that's why i choose it instead of buy a cheaper laptop and spending the rest on a nice holiday.
i love my vaio laptop but the battery is disappointing. is there a better battery that i can buy on the market?
