Can't log on!!!

Hi,

My daughters laptop will not let her log on - it claims her password is invalid although it is clearly not. A support guy has told her she will have to go to a store for them to resolve it and this will kill all data on the machine - anyone heard of this and can confirm it - or advise alternatives

Hi, if you have another account with admistrator privileges you could log on with that account and then reset the password of your daughter account.

What Operating System is your daughter using? XP or Vista?

The remedies are different.
