Battery Problem with TZ31MN/N

All,
I've had my TZ31MN/N for 4 weeks now and I'm very please with it.
However, after only 2 weeks a 'catch' broke of the battery securing mount (battery type BPL11) which meant that one end of the battery was not secured.
The warranty response from PC World Business was 100% crap (didn't want to know) but the response from Sony UK was 100% perfect who replaced the battery without question in 2 days.

Anyone else had this problem with the battery? Is it a known weakness?
