I am go trying to be fair here but i feel very hard done by please let me know if im being harsh on sony
my szvp1 got to being 11 months old my battery started to only last for 10 min at a time
contacted sony support and thay let mw know that batterys are like print carts and need replased one in a while and are not coverd by warinty this was a bit of a pest so i bit the bullet and shelled out a hunderd and whater pounds for a new one. I felt a bit better as i was told the new one had a years warinty
now 6 months down the line my battery went from working to not working over night (ie not recognised as aposed to not holding a charge) to add insult to injury the laptop has only been out of the dock for a period of 48 hours in the 6 month. Witch indicates to me a problem with smart charge chip. olay to be told by sony support that im out of luck.
