hello guys, i speak of it before but since I don't get a clear response, so here it is again
How can i get the AVerMedia Hybrid H/W MPEG Card, M115S (DVBT/NTSC/PAL/SECAM)
work on my Windows Vista?
PLS Help
it's been a year and a half since i have this problem TV tunner is not working on Vista
guys is anyone is having the same problem on AR series laptops?
No one else seems to have a problem with this so either you are doing something wrong or your TV Card is faulty.
Remind us again of what you have tried and which version of Vista you have installed?
Is the driver installed in Device Manager under Sound Video and Game Controllers?
Have you installed the Vista TV Tuner Card Driver 3.3.23.87.b?
Have you followed the procedure for 'TV Tuner not found' in Vista?
Have you run TV Tuner Setup in Vista Media Centre?

I have Vista Ultimate SP1
As you can see in the foto below in Device Manager,
says that the Device is Working Properly
the version of the driver is 3.3.23.103
(i tried several times installing / uninstalling the driver to see if it fixes the problem)
But still in the media center says that Tv tunner is not found....
Any solutions pls...?
The problem is in the registration of the TV device with Media Centre.
This was a well known problem with Media Centre 2005 and was caused by some dodgy Microsoft Updates which failed to re-register the components with MCE.
There is a batch file (which I attach below) which de-registers and re-registers all the components of Media Centre.
This was written for XP MCE but I see no reason why it should not also work for Vista MC. If you are suspicious of running an unknown .BAT file, just 'edit' it and you will see that it just de-registers and re-registers Media Centre Components like the TV Tuner.

i use a tool like this before , the MceRepair.exe which i found it in an older post
but both of them are not doing the job for me.
I have the same problem.
i even use AVer MediaCenter (AVer TV6) displayng the message that could not find the device.
I am sure that the problem is software (not hardware) because i use FLY 2000 TV
(i read about it in some other forums) and a was able to watch TV for couple of seconds before it dispays the error message.
anyone knows how to fix this problem?
guys any solution ????
I know it's not much help, but I got a lot of help from these guys at the The Green Button, they know more about VMC than I do.
