Phone won't connect to XAV-AX3005db

I bought the XAV-AX3005db head unit for my car last year. It connected to my Samsung A70 ok but crashed alot and wouldn't connect at all after a afew months. I have bought a OPPO A74 and all it says when I plug it in is usb device not connected. Can you tell me why this is happening and how it can be solved as this is a total waste of money.

Correction it says 'usb device not supported' I have the Android auto app which works via the blue tooth.
