M2 Aqua - Problems with sdcard. What is the best SDCard?

Hi there,

I'm having some problems with my brand new M2 Aqua (KitKat 4.4.4) when using SdCard.

First, when I restart my phone, my apps that is installed on sdcard disapears from the home screen. They are still installed, just gone from home screen. Every time I restart the phone I have to create the shortcut on the home screen.

Second and more annoying - Sometimes I'm having some problems with my photos when writing on SDCard. The first time I use the app to move photos from internal memory to sdcard and I lost all my photos. The second time I couldn't take photos using sdcard as storage memory - I only can do that when I set internal memory as default.

I'm using a SanDisk 32Gb class 4. If I upgrade this card should resolve these problems?

What is the best model for M2 Aqua? SDHC class 10 or a UHS-I Card?

M2 Aqua supports UHS-I cards?

Best regards.

That's quite interesting, I use nothing but class 10 with my Xperias and recently 64GB UHS-3 and 64GB UHS-1

Indeed UHS-1 or even UHS-3 are a lot faster but I'm not certain that they are compatible, contact your local Xperia Care

Thank you uliwooly.

Are you sure that SDHC class 10 works with Xperia M2 Aqua?

I contacted the local Xperia Care and they told me that class 10 are only compatible with digital cameras.

I'm not sure that they give me a trusted information.

You can safely go for class 10,the digital cameras need indeed high speed cards but these are also compatible with smartphones.
