Refunds

I purchased a Sony PlayStation game becuase I had seen it advertised as a two player.. when I downloaded it, it turned out it wasn't so I requested a refund..  Sony have just totally refused to even consider a refund..using thier standard arguement that no refunds after purchase.. how can they get away with this ??
