Hi, I've just registered a bundle of products bought between 2013 and now. Not quite sure how this community works as a forum as it does not seem very active for discussion but has a vast number of reads.
I am a professional user, though these days I do not undertake much work. Since 1988 I have been a photographic magazine publisher, after producing 'Minolta Image' from 1981 onwards. We finally closed that quarterly magazine, which was the home of the Minolta Club of Great Britain, in 2011 five years after Sony took over the brand. We had continued it under our own finance for 20 further magazine issues. From 2012-2015 we published Cameracraft, in the same quarterly format. In October 2015, Cameracraft finally merges with our larger title, f2. We now publish 'f2 Cameracraft' (which used to be 'f2 Freelance Photographer') and also Master Photography, a professional interest title.
I'm based in Kelso, Scotland, and 'we' basically means 'I' these days as there is no longer enough money in my kind of high quality, small circulation specialist magazines to have any employees at all, just freelance contributors and associates. I now use the A7R II (16-35, 28mm f/2, 24-240mm plus a range of Minolta, Sony, Canon, Sigma, Tamron, Voigtlander and Samyang lenses via adaptors) and A6000 (10-18mm, 16-50mm, 35mm f/1.8, 55-210mm) plus RX10, RX100, RX100 III. My wife Shirley prefers optical finders and has two A580s, one of which I am currently using in the studio where optical is easier. She's just upgraded from a Sigma 18-250mm OS to a Tamron 16-300mm.
