in new PRS600 some PDF files not fully transferring....

Have used both Calibre and SonyReader software to import, also tried off an SDcard, makes no difference. Get first 10-20 pages then HUNDREDS of blank pages! I think the source file(s) may have been a Word doc. but converted ok to PDF (in adobe on laptop they read fine).

.......may have found the problem.....I think the manual says adobe 1.4 or EARLIER (!) ....I've got 9.

Have tried converting one file from PDF to RTF and it worked ok. Will do more and see how it goes.

Seems pretty crappy if such an old version of pdf is needed. If this is the case then it should be stated upfront in great big letters to save people like me wasting hours of precious (reading) time!!!

That being said, I do love my reader, which has surprised me as I was a reluctant convert and intended only to use it for hols but I find myself using it as I would a paperback. Got myself an Aquapac so I can read in the bath too!
