I have PRS-300 & my computer died any idea how I get my reader to work on it?
Hi noburns80,
First thing you need to do is install the latest version of the Sony Reader Library software (this has Adobe Digital Editions software embedded within it so there is no need to install this separately). You can get the latest version of the software (3.3) from Sony's support website (link is below).

To continue being able to transfer any copy-protected eBooks that you have purchased, you just need to make sure that you re-authorise your computer again with the same Adobe Digital ID as before (I'm assuming that you've purchased copyrighted eBooks on line before). The prompt to authorise your computer should happen automatically the first time you hit the download button on a copyrighted eBook from an on line store and choose the 'open' option. Incidentally, if you have purchased eBooks on line before and you logon to the on line retailer's website and look at your purchase history, you can often re-download your previously purchased titles with some of them - might be handy if you lost anything when your old computer died.
Hope this helps
Thanks for the advice unfortunately it hasn't worked.

What hasn't worked, have you been able to install Reader Library on your new computer, does your Reader connect..:smileyconfused:
Yeah I have installed it but it keeps telling me that the reader is not authorised to some of the books...
Did you get this fixed? I am in exactly the same place.
Hi all!
Did you guys authorized with Adobe using the same email address?
Whats the exact error message you are getting?
