I have had a mishap with my Touch screen (nudged it with my elbow while rolling over in bed!) and the top half is now impossible to read. It works perfectly but no use being able to read only half a page! Does any one know if this can be repaired and if so what the cost may be? I am reluctant to send it off and pay Sony £28 if it is generally known that the screen can not be replaced. Unfortunately all the wee lass at the so called "help" centre will say that she is not an engineeer. How to win loyal customers.. not!
yep service is clearly not the key stone policy for this lot. And now I have another gripe. A friend has lent me hers so that I can read the books I had bought but not yet read. Can I find any instructions anywhere as to how to add a second ereader to the Library.. no, of course not. Got some help from a post on this forum but it seems to imply that you can not share a library between two ereaders unless they are both registered to you. Never in all my born days had I thought that having bought a book you could not let a friend read it. Sheer commercial greed
