Hi, I recently purchased a Sony Bravia OLED 65" TV and was thinking of mounting in to the wall with a bracket due to it's size and weight. The only issue I have is there is a dado rail in eyeline level of the wall when sitting down. The dado rail sticks out by 2cm. I was thinking of the placing the bracket just above the dado rail or literally resting on it but am not sure if the outer bracket that fits to the wall bracket will fit over the dado rail and if the gap is big enough for 2cm?? I've uploaded some photos to explain what I mean in better detail. The bracket is a SU-WL850 Wall-Mount Bracket.
Hi @jolb72
I can see from the specs it can go only 11mm from the wall. Have you considered removing the section of dado rail, obviously keeping it so you can put it back. Of course I am assuming that it is only aesthetic.

Hi @jolb72 How about 1cm battens on the wall to attach the bracket, that will give you 1mm clearance 😀
