Sony KD-55X9305C TV suddenly does not switch on

Power cable is connected and powered, but there is no sign of life from the TV.

Any suggestion on what I can try to turn it on?

Have you tried testing the power socket? (I assume you do since you said "connected and powered") but you can try using another device in the same socket or trying a different socket.

Thank you Joe, yes tried that as well as I tried swapping the cable and leaving the TV unplugged for a period of time

The TV might need repairing at this point. Though there are 2 different scenarios here;

• Either the TV is turning on with no picture or sound (light at the bottom turns On)
• Or the TV doesn't turn on at all (no light at the bottom).

If the light turns On, then you can try force resetting it first, but if it doesn't you should reach out to Sony engineers directly.

Sony has a handy locator tool for service centres in the UK and Ireland which you can check.
