Message to Sony:
As a GoPro12 and DJI OSMO5 user I greatly appreciate the automatic picture/video levelling feature both cameras offer. If the camera is within 45 degrees of the Earth's local horizon and auto levelling is selected, the image displayed and recorded will be perfectly level with the horizon without any user effort.
My Sony A7R5, A7R4 and A6400, on the other hand, shows horizon target markings and an indicator showing the current tilt of the camera away from level. Those two indicators must then be manually aligned on a constant basis, which is tedious enough through the viewfinder, but often difficult to see at all on the monitor, especially in sunshine.
Please ensure that all future Sony digital cameras incorporate the automatic image levelling function offered as a standard feature on the GoPro12 and DJI OSMO5. This assist should be an operator-chosen option and, if so chosen, should function when shooting stills or video.
Thank you.
