Problem with HT-XT2 Soundstage playing Blu-Ray Disc

Hi ,

i am new to this forum , could someone help?

The problem I have had for the last two years is when playing a Blu-Ray Disc, there is no sound

on my tv until I turn the soundstage off.

I have a Sony blu-ray player (3500) & a Sony 43" Android tv , all connected thru HDMI Cable of which are good quality .

playing DVD is no problem ,I have a good sound coming thru the soundstage plus skyHD & Digital.

everything has been checked many times.

the only sound I get thru the soundstage playing Blu-Ray is English descriptive audio plus

foreign audio .It does not seem to play the 7:1 Dolby signal on Blu-Ray.

i think this was mentioned in the hand book, can anyone confirm. the soundstage is updated regularly & seems fine.

Hi @walshes56, welcome to the community

It might be that the HT-XT2 doesn’t support the audio format of your Blu-ray Discs. You could try enabling the Dolby D compatible output in the settings of your Blu-ray player and see if this solves the issue.
