KD-65X7053 4k HDMI not Working

I am unable to get my TV to display 4k from my PC.

I have tried all three HDMI ports and I have turned on enhanced format.

I can get the TV to display 1080p but if I increase the resolution any higher the TV says that no input detected. I have tried all listed refresh rates 24, 25, 50 & 60Hz.

X70 will display 4k via the amazon app already installed but not via HDMI from my PC.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried playing any 4K content on the PC in full screen?

Also, do you have the TV connected in Extend or Duplicate mode? (unless you're running macOS, then I'm not sure what it'd be called)

Sorry to clarify when I have the resolution set to 1080p videos play in full screen until I change the resolution to anything higher in display settings.

I have tried duplicate and in extend (windows 10)

4K media will play from the computer on the TV but because the output res is only set to 1080 it obviously isn't...

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable?

So far it seems like the TV is working fine, while the PC output is not.

Do you happen to have a monitor or different TV to try with (if it's a laptop you're using).

That's peculiar, try setting HDMI signal format to Enhanced, and connect to HDMI 2 or 3 and see how that goes.
