KDL 26EX320 Sounds like a smoke alarm

My mother has a KDL 26EX320 TV. Several times recently she reports that it has started making an uncomfortably loud noise like a smoke alarm and the only way to stop it has been to unplug it from the electricity supply. Plugging it back in again, it apparently then works fine.

Anyone come across this problem?

We are both isolating because of Covid19 so I haven't been able to witness it myself.

That definately doesn't sound right.

(I hope its not the same noise my smoke alarm makes at random in the middle of the night )

Is it possible to get a recording of the noise?

Have their been any other problems with the TV too?

Either way it may well end up with you having to contact Support about this.
