How to remove/eject a usb from Sony Bravia KDL-32W66OE

I recently purchased a Sony TV to view my tv series on usb. It plays great but there is nothing in the user guide to say how to eject/remove the usb2. I press Return then turn the power off, but when I insert the usb2 into my computer it tells me that there could be some errors on it, then it repairs it and states that no errors found.

I always remove usb correctly on my computer and never have that problem when I was using a media player on the old TV (which died on me).

Many thanks for your reply. Read the link, but this refers to an external hard drive, not a usb memory stick. Tried this anyway but no luck. I do have a couple of external hard drives so might try these instead of the usb memory sticks.
