Hi, thanks for your response. You are correct that I can only use the arrow keys on my remote to view the USB photos. But I have tried enrolling in "PlayMemories Online", and after a bit of effort I can run a slideshow via the online site. The only issue is there is no control of the transition speed, and possible the download internet usage.

Regards

Grumpy63

I have attempted to view photos via a USB on my KDL-40W705C TV. I have managed to get to the Album page where several options are available. I have chosen the browsing view showing the USB and internet connections. I can view the photos manually one at a time, but it seems there is no way to view a folder of photos as a slideshow. Any ideas?

There is also a calender view which seems to only display a default sony view.

Hi there

I do not thing the photo slideshow is supported any longer. I have compared the manual of your model TV to a preview years model, and there is no mention of photo slideshow in your manual at all - whereas it is in another previous years manual.

You should be able to use the arrow or OK button to move to the next picture I believe.

Cheers

Hi there

The only other thing I can suggest is if you have a Android based smartphone or tablet, put the photos on it and use the 'Screen Mirroring' function.

Instructions:

http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/14XM070111/EN/wfdisplay_wfintegrated.html

And then use an app such as:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.scoompa.slideshow&hl=en_GB

Cheers
