Youtube app buffering when watching movies

Hi,

I have the Sony Bravia KDL40WD653 with latest firmware connected to WiFi. I had no problem watching any video content on the Youtube app until now. Now I am trying to watch a movie I bought, however, it is buffering every 3 seconds. I can confirm that it is not my internet connection as I can watch other youtube videos without any problem, even 4k videos. I followed every suggestion and help I could get from YouTube's support but nothing helped. Does anyone know a reason for this? Or how to fix the issue?

Hi there

The 4K movies that you are watching on YouTube will be down converted to 1080p (or lower) as your TV is not a 4K TV and hence will not display 4K.

Getting back to your issue - my advice is to start at the begining of the troubleshooting process.

Goto speedtest.net and post back here your upload and download speeds
Can you test using an ethernet cable on your TV (to rule out wireless issues) - remember to change the network settings on the TV as well.
