Hi there

As you are experiencing issues after a firmware update - try doing a factory reset of the tv, ad this can fix many issues. If that doesnt work, please reply back with what country you are in

I found this post searching solution for issue I have with my TV.

KD-49X8508B

In same time last year, my TV stop working with flashing LED 8 times. I see that recent update is addressing that issue.

My TV was in regular servis of Sony and was there for longer time. After taking back TV I am experiencign same issue as descirbed above. Picture quolity as I can say degradated to certain level and especialy can be recognized by eye on lower resolution image.

Factory reset is not helping also chainging of country.

When I run some of test images destorsion is more visible.

Any adivse what to do?

I am located in Serbia.
