Tv and DVD Home Cinema compatibility

Hi all,

I have just purchased a new TV Sony W600B 48 inch and wanted to use it with my Sony DAV-TZ140 Home cinema sysytem, however upon connecting everything up, I can not get any sound from the audio system.

I know the DVD system is not faulty as I used my previous Sony 40 inch (not sure of model number) that is about 5 years old and it works fine.

The new TV sound works, just not through the DVD music system.

Can anyone please help me. Thanks

How did you connect your TV to the audio system? Your TV do not have an analogic audio out (that is required by you DVD HT), the only possibility is via the the headphone socket as described in the manual http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/14HM154111/EN/c_asys_cable.html
