40z4500 keeps switching back on after switching off

Hi everyone,

When we switch off our Sony 40z4500 using the power button on the top of the TV, it quite often switches itself back on.

It doesn't always do this, but it's certainly not an uncommon event.

What's wrong with our TV?

Hi there

Other than a hardware fault - Ive actually had this done to me a few times.

Cause:

Long story short - Check the buttons on your remote control - Ensure there are NO stuck buttons that are slighly pressed down, especially that power button! (but can be other buttons too) As you use the power button on the top of the TV, check this too.
