Sony Kdl32u3000 no hdmi input

Hi guys Im having trouble with my Sony kdl32u3000. I have connected my laptop via hdmi cable to the tv, and my laptop shows I have succesfully connected it to a Sony TV. The problem is there is no hdmi input for me to select, the options I have are TV, AV1 AV2, AV3, AV4, AV5, AV6, PC. I have tried all of these with no succes. I have done a reset of the tv as well. I have tried going to settings-hdmi set up, but when I connect my laptop it just says no device detected despite "seeing" Im connected on the laptop. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi there

HDMI Ports:

Top HDMI (4) = AV4

Bottom HDMI (5) = AV5

If your having problems receiving a signal from your PC, you need to change the display (resolution) settings on the PC, to one that is compatible with your TV. See table below:
