Sony Bravia KDL-32W651as , USB HDD connection......

Is it ok if i iconnect a usb portable hdd 500GB, and leave it connected ?? or , after sime time it will destroy something on my TV ??? for example from using power to read the hdd....????

Hi there

All HDD's will wear with use. If you are using the HDD for USB recording, its probably best to leave it connected. It is recommended/preferred though to have a HDD that has its own power source and not drawing power from the USB ports itself. Cant see that it can harm the TV in any case.
