malfunctioning drivers NVIDIA Graphics driver can not see a Windows 8 graphics card NVIDIA. On W7 week ago everything working.

Sony update, also does not solve the problem.

Please advice.

Do you mean VGN-Z31XN?

Sony do not support Windows 8 on this model. nVidia Guard Service is not a graphics driver. - it plugs a few security issues with the nVidia Windows 8 Drivers. You need a nVidia Graphics Driver first. Where did you get the graphics driver you installed with Windows 8 for the NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS GPU?

You may need to get a driver and modify the installer .INF file to allow it to install. Have a look at this website and read the 'Getting Started' section at the bottom of the right-hand column: -
