FZ21Z + Type of memory ?

Hello, i want to put 4gb of memory in my VGN-FZ21Z .... actually, i have 2Gb

If i put PC2-6400 in the notebooks, the memory will run at 400Mhz or not? Because at this moment, this one run with 2gb at 333 Mhz (PC2-5300) ???
Is the FZ21Z able to recognize the 6400 and run this one at 400Mhz and no at 333Mhz
I'am looking for information about memory in the bios but NO information...
What's for a bios, no information about nothing!

Hi Framemanager,

Your FZ21 will recognise BOTH PC2-5300 OR PC2-6400.

If you replace both modules with PC2-6400 the modules will run at 400MHz but because they are DDR2 (Double Data Rate) they will run at the same rate as 800MHz modules.

Many of us use Crucial memory and I have not heard any complaints. They guarantee compatibility.
