Asking for system recovery disc?

Hi everyone!

I bought Vaio laptop a week ago n i installed linux on it before making the recovery disc and now i want to restore the system to the way it was so this is to ask if any of you knows how to ask for a recovery disc for my laptop? tnx

Hi Abyssinia and welcome.

Try this before you buy a replacement set of Recovery Discs: -

Connect to the AC Adapter
Start your Vaio
At the first Vaio logo screen, press F10 repeatedly
This should start the Vaio Recovery Centre - follow the instructions to do a Complete Reinstall.

After the recovery has finished (it may take some time) don't forget to make some recovery discs as the first thing you do!

i had exactly the same problem, (installed linux -before to make recovery disks- and finally i screwed up the pc)
because the HDD is in RAID 0 everything was a big mess.
and then i had to buy the recovery DVD's
