UK Sony Z Reinstall Issues, Please Help.

Hi,

I bought a UK Sony Z vgn-z11vn/b which came with vista business. I have my own legit version of Vista Ultimate which i wanted to install.

I made the recovery CDs on 2 disks.

I then inserted my vista dvd into the drive and booted from it. it booted and when it came to selecting the partitions, I could not see or delete the recovery partition. I only see Disk 0 Partition 1 which is the active boot partition.

I then used ultimate boot CD to run FDISK and delete the partitions manually which worked. I then rebooted and install vista ultimate and now problems started with drivers.

I installed all the drivers from c:\windows\drivers\exe & inf which had all the drivers in there before the install. I download all the sony apps from the website.

1. I've installed the SD Card Reader drivers but cannot see the drive in Explorer nor see it in windows disk management. I can see the MS reader.
2. Where can i find the UK WLAN and WWAN drivers?

Since i could not find the WLAN and WWAN drivers, I reinstalled Vista Ultimate again and this time copied Sony Vaio Recovery from backup to c:\pro...\recovery....... to reinstall programs and drivers.

When prompted for disk 2, bang, Error 505:41. I then tried selecting only the drivers which worked but some of the drivers were not installed even though it said it's was successfull. The error comes when i try to install the APPS ie WWAN Application and Drivers, WLAN Drivers, Vaio software.

Is my 2nd recovery cd duff or is it looking for something on the HDD that isn't there or permissions. I'm installing logged in as administrator.

What next?
