Hi i have Vaio laptop. The cd-rom isn't working how can i recover my vaio?

What model is the Vaio?

If you have a model with Hard Disc Drive Recovery, you can recover from the hard drive.

The model is VGN-FE21M. I don't know if it has Hard Disc Drive Recovery.

Yes it should have hard disc recovery.

Connect to the mains power and turn on the Vaio.
When you see the first Vaio logo screen, tap F10 repeatedly.
If you still have the Recovery Partition on your hard drive, the Recovery will start.
Choose to restore your Vaio fully back to factory settings.
Do not interrupt the recovery even if it appears to have stopped. It may take some time.

You will need to go online and update all the Windows and Vaio Updates.
