I hooked up my Vaio Blue Ray notebook via HDMI cable to Hitachi virtual 1080p plasma tv and i received the error message above. I think i need to turn off the laptop display using the FN -F7 option. I may be doing something wrong, because when I tried this, the movie was playing and it didn't seem to work. Do i need to turn off the display before the movie starts or is there something else i need to try. Any help is much appreciated.
