How do I fix a corrupted Windows Media Player library?

Hi I have a Vaio VPCF13MBE laptop and done a re-install. Now when I try to burn a DVD it won't do it., could you please tell how to fix a corrupted Windows Media Player library? i have removed the media player and re-installed it by turning on and off windows features Please help
