      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;JcBrotel,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please, take a look at our Self-Service area...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# Back-Up and Restoration&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Need to bring your VAIO back to it's original state (factory settings) ? This Step by Step guide will show you how to do so.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;IMPORTANT NOTES:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    * This procedure deletes ALL data stored on your hard disk drive.&lt;BR /&gt;    * Backup all important data before going further.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Restore BIOS defaults:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   1. Insert the recovery CD/DVD in the CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive.&lt;BR /&gt;   2. Start or restart your VAIO.&lt;BR /&gt;   3. When you see the Sony logo, press F2 repeatedly to enter the BIOS.&lt;BR /&gt;   4. Once in the BIOS, insert the first recovery CD in the CD-ROM drive.&lt;BR /&gt;   5. Press F9 to restore the default values (F5 on VAIO desktops).&lt;BR /&gt;   6. When asked to confirm, press ENTER.&lt;BR /&gt;   7. Press F10 to save the configuration and exit the BIOS.&lt;BR /&gt;   8. When asked to confirm, press ENTER again.&lt;BR /&gt;   9. The VAIO restarts and boots on the recovery CD.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Start the recovery process:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;   1. The Sony logo should appear on the screen and the Recovery CD screen is displayed.&lt;BR /&gt;   2. Click Next on the first screen.&lt;BR /&gt;   3. Click Next again.&lt;BR /&gt;   4. Select Option Recovery and click Next.&lt;BR /&gt;   5. Select Recovery to originally shipped state and click Next.&lt;BR /&gt;   6. The VAIO is ready to be recovered - Click Next and then Yes to begin.&lt;BR /&gt;   7. Wait until the process is over.&lt;BR /&gt;   8. During the recovery, you may be asked to insert the next recovery CD(s) and press the OK button, please do so.&lt;BR /&gt;   9. When the procedure is finished, click OK.&lt;BR /&gt;  10. Click Finish to restart the VAIO.&lt;BR /&gt;  11.
