I need urgent help! I have a VGN-TX1XP/B Vaio Laptop. I lost the recovery CD. I reinstalled xp operation system. But Fn mode is not working. Futhermore, All the buttons near the shutdown (yellow light) button don't work such as AV, Forward, Backword, Home, End, CD Eject Buttons.

Could you please help me!!!What can I do?

welcome to Club VAIO..

I lost the recovery CD

You're Vaio has a hidden HDD recovery partition so as long as it has not been deleted you should be able to recover your Vaio back to the original installed OS and programs just as it was when you first used your Vaio.

To do this Start your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo screen press F10 repeatedly this normally would start the recovery process..

Furthermore, how can ı create a cd/dvd recover disk?from the hidden HDD recovery partition of my Vaio? or is it possible to copy this programs or information at hidden HDD recovery partition to a USB protable external harddisk?
