Hi, when i ripped my 800 or so CDs two years ago, i simply used Windows Media Player, tweaking settings to rip MP3 at 192Kbps (or higher), auto-rip on CD insertion, and eject CD on completion. Then WMP is set to grab album info from the web, with the odd 5% requiring manual tracklist input.

That way, you just keep feeding your CD drive, without any keyboard/mouse input. Move your PC to the living room, and have it sitting their, devouring albums!!

Play about with the settings in Tools, Options and get it right for a few first, before ripping many. It will take you a while to retrace steps if not happy with a selection later on.

Good luck, Tony
